Charitites
We help Charities save time
and money on their
utility contracts.
After the unprecedented COVID pandemic affected the entire
world in 2020, we have never been prouder to partner with
many charities across the U.K. to help them save time and
money on their utility contracts, allowing them to continue
their vital work in society.
As NPO’s, charities are entitled to make savings on their energy contracts that other
businesses are not permitted to. However, we often see these savings not being used,
leaving some organisations overpaying unnecessarily for their utilities. By partnering
with us, you will be in the hands of our expert team, who can run an audit to ensure
your billing is accurate and recover any historic overcharging.
Case Study
→ Charity
001 were engaged by this national charity to provide a
comprehensive range of services to ensure overall efficiency
with regards to their utility consumption and obtaining the
most cost effective solutions moving forward.
Solutions
-
Our specialist lead assessor conducted ESOS (Energy Savings
Opportunity Scheme) audits to ensure the charity met its
regulatory obligations and to provide the Trustees with
costed strategies for reducing energy consumption. -
The service was complemented by our bill validation and
reporting service which ensured that the charity is always
billed correctly and any anomalies are identified and resolved
in a timely manner while providing the management team
with meaningful data to allow them to manage their properties
and energy consumption effectively.
Savings, recoveries and resolved issues:
-
After conducting a full and extensive historic audit, 001
facilitated rebates of £37,474 back to the charity. -
Following on from this, our comprehensive procurement
process identified more beneficial contract options which
saved the charity a further £198,808. -
Overall, our impact ensured that an extra £236,282 was
available to the charity to support their vital services.
001 were introduced to David Richmond CBE, Director of Recovery at Help for Heroes by rugby legend, Simon Halliday. Shortly after a meeting with the Head of Facilities and the Group Estate Manager, 001 were instructed to identify and recover electricity and gas savings.
Help for Heroes have since been very pleased with the results. To date, 001 have implemented savings of 182,008 on our gas at Tedworth House and we have also recovered a rebate of £37,474. There have since been further savings across other sites of £16,800.
001 provide consistently competitive tariffs across electricity and gas and have enabled Help for Heroes to consolidate all sites with one supplier with a common contract expiry date, providing cost savings and simplifying administration.
Our account manager is quick to respond to queries and works on the basis of a long-term relationship. Not only are cost reductions passed onto customers without any re-negotiation, but 001 are also proactive in identifying and claiming rebates for us where we have been overcharged in the past. We have since instructed 001 to provide us with a monthly consumption report and invoice validation service in order to avoid overcharges
and ensure costs are kept to a minimum.
I have no hesitation in recommending 001 and consider them
to be amongst the best in their field.
